Life after Weight loss

Featured Weight loss patient's testimonial

I remember being teased in the 7th grade about the size of my breasts. How was I to know then, it was only the beginning of my pain and discomfort with my large breasts. It wasn't as if they were huge, at their largest they were 42 E, but they were always disproportionate to the rest of my body frame. No matter what weight I was they were always BIG and heavy.

I've yo-yo with my weight since puberty, my all time high was 200 pounds and the lowest was 115 pounds. I am 5'3 with a small boned frame, nobody ever believed me when I told them I weighed 200 pounds; I carried it well. At least that's what people told me.

At 5'2, I was down to 135 and pretty happy with my weight. I figured those days of weighing much less were over. I still had a tummy role of loose skin that would never go away, no matter how little I weighed, ever when I was 115 lbs it was still there! The yo-yo dieting and weight gain and loss has taken its effects on my skin and my breasts were also showing the effects and were drooping, ah, just a bit lets say, a good heavy bit.

I became a widow in 2007, and found myself with the frightening task of dating and bearing more than my heart and soul to a new man. This was petrifying! I had a girlfriend at work that had a breast reduction and her breasts looked great. I asked her who her plastic surgeon was and it was Dr. Frederic Corbin. I called his office and they made me an appointment ASAP!

Dr. Corbin and I discussed a breast reduction, a breast lift and a tummy tuck. He told me there there was a lift with a breast reduction surgery. Dr. Corbin didn't feel I would be happy with too much more of a reduction in the size of my breasts and he was so right. I had loss breast size when I lost weight so I basically needed a breast lift with a small breast reduction.

I was very comfortable and confident in Dr. Corbin. My surgery was financed with a finance company they recommended at their office. I scheduled my surgery for the next week!

The breast lift was a piece of cake. There was absolutely no pain associated with the breasts. I went from a 38 DD to a 38 C and I LOVE MY BREASTS!

I was off work for two weeks, due to the tummy tuck. This procedure did have a painfully recovery, but it was totally worth going through to have a flat stomach.

The support of Dr. Corbin and his staff is unbelievable while I was going through my post operative recovery. The office staff is great, and they make YOUR appointment convenient for YOU, and make sure that all your needs are met. The nursing staff is angels! None of them let you go through any unnecessary discomfort and they are very knowledable with helpful hints to aid in your recovery.

Now when men look at me it is not because of the largeness of my breasts it's because of my all around beauty and confidence. And I can't help myself, but to look them straight in their eyes and say, “hello”, and watch them smile! It's the first time in my life I can wear anything I want and LOOK GOOD in it. Thank you Dr. Corbin an amazing surgeon and his staff for brining out the sleeping beauty in me!
