Buttocks

Buttocks - An area that is often greatly affected by major weight loss is the butt. This area is mostly made up of fat, muscle and skin. After weight loss the amount of fat changes affecting the contour of the derriere. An ideal butt is high, firm and round. Usually when a patient looses a lot of fat from their buttocks the area is left with a lot of extra saggy skin overlaying the muscle and remaining fat and a lack of projection and shape. By removing the excess skin and creating a more pleasing buttocks contour patient’s look and feel better about their new rear view.

Butt Lift

Buttocks Lift General Information: The butt lift is a procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the buttock as well as lift it. Candidates for butt lifts are usually those who have had extreme weight gains and losses or have developed laxity due to age. The butt lift reshapes the derriere creating a smoother and more aesthetically pleasing bottom. The scar runs along the top of the buttock and may be concealed with underwear, bathing suit or other clothing. Like any surgical procedure there are risks and benefits that will be discussed at your consultation.
